Spring Algebra Program

SelectivePrep is offering a 12 hour Algebra Program in the Spring of 2019 to help build students’ algebra skills and prepare them for the Algebra Exit Exam at their Academic Center/Elementary School or Math Placement Exam at their Selective Enrollment High School. SelectivePrep’s course contains extensive algebra content review, exercises, and a practice test.

This program is recommended for 8th graders seeking to place out of basic Algebra so they can take advanced math classes as part of their high school math curriculum and for accelerated 7th graders taking the Algebra Exit Exam. Most students who take basic algebra in 9th grade will NOT be eligible to take advanced high school math (e.g., AP Calculus and AP Statistics).

All Selective Enrollment High Schools must allow a student who receives a Pass or High Pass on the Algebra Exit to bypass Algebra I. Improved algebra skills will help students taking any of the various high school math placement exams.
